Sample Work Immersion Plan

Work Immersion is a program under the K-12 curriculum of Senior High School (SHS) in the Philippines. It is designed to provide SHS students with opportunities to observe and participate in actual work environments related to their chosen specialization. This program aims to develop students' skills and competencies in their chosen field and prepare them for their future careers.

The Work Immersion program requires students to undergo 80 hours of on-the-job training in various industries, such as agriculture, fishery, hospitality, tourism, and others, depending on their chosen track or strand. The students are assigned to a host company or organization where they will be supervised by a designated mentor or supervisor.

During the Work Immersion program, students are expected to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in their classroom lectures and hands-on activities. They will be able to experience the real world of work, observe work practices and procedures, and interact with professionals in their chosen field. Through this program, students can gain insights into the career paths they want to pursue and make informed decisions about their future.

The Work Immersion program is considered an integral part of the SHS curriculum in the Philippines. It provides students with a valuable learning experience that can help them become more competitive in the job market and prepare them for the challenges of the workplace.
